The Trademarx Solution
Are there size constraints for images submitted through the system?
Design submissions should be equal to or less than 1224 pt. x 792 pt. (11 in. x 17 in.) with a minimum of 360 pt. x 360 pt.
Do I need to be an active member of the Trademarx Artwork Solution to use the Approval Tool?
Manufacturers do not need to use the Trademarx Artwork Solution to be eligible to use the Approval Solution to submit designs to participating institutions.
Is there a manual for using the system?

How do I get artwork for a particular school?
Professionally-produced, vector-based artwork for all of the schools represented by the Licensing Resource Group is available for download at trademarxonline.com. All licensed manufacturers are automatically professional members and may download artwork for $35 per school. Licensees may upgrade to a Premier Membership for an annual fee of $450. Premier Members receive unlimited access to any school's artwork for which the are licensed, as well as any updates or changes. To learn more about membership benefits, follow the link listed above.
Is there a charge to use the Trademarx Approval Solution?
There is no charge for manufacturers to use the system to submit designs to schools and universities participating in the Trademarx Solution.
I forgot my user id and password. Where can I find this information?
If you forget your user id and password, you may click the "forget your password" link located under the login area and follow the prompts to have the information e-mailed to you directly. If you experience any problems or would like to speak to someone directly, contact the Licensing Resource Group at or call (616) 395.0676. When requesting a user name and password, please reference the Trademarx Approval Solution in your correspondence.
If I downloaded artwork from the Trademarx Artwork Solution, do I still need to have my design approved by the school?
Yes, all designs must be reviewed and approved by the designated on-campus licensing contact prior to production.
May licensees continue to contact the school directly with artwork questions?
Yes, LRG encourages licensees to work directly with the on-campus contact to ensure that designs are appropriate and consistent with the University's licensing goals. Likewise, any independently-managed university who is employing the Trademarx Solution should be contract directly. For technical questions or problems, please e-mail us at .
What file formats will the Approval Tool accept?
Design submissions can be any one of the following formats: .pdf .jpg .bmp .png .psd .pcx .pax .tga .tif .tla Please note: You must append the appropriate extension to the file for it to be properly displayed on the the system.
What if I don't have access to e-mail?
The Approval Solution is strictly a web-based system that relies on the Internet and e-mail services to exchange information between parties. Individual schools may still accept designs from licensees through methods such as mail and facsimile; however, the Approval Tool will become the primary resource for maintaining a complete database of design submissions for both licensees and licensors.
